Diary

Today is another treatment which takes much longer and more painful ever than the previous. Same as before, the injured area need to be warm up under the micro wave lighting; the heat will relax the joint and increase blood circulation inside the area. It takes about 20 minutes that I can see and feel the skin of my left knee turned slightly red. Then it is the electrical treatment, pairs of thin and long needles will be tapped on the Acupoints opposite to the injured areas to stimulate nerve reflection and cell growth. I am so nervous that I can almost feel vomit if anything was inside my stomach when the electrical intensity is pulsing heavier. The lower part of my feet begins to shakes out of my intension according to the electrical pulse, may be the weird feeling twisted my face the doctor immediately lowers the intensity until I almost feel nothing. I know it is not good to the recovery but tears already on my face. Another 20 more minutes later, it begins the first part of the acupuncture: there 2 needles are tapped on the inner part of my left knee and 1 needle is tapped under the front part of it, the doctor haven’t remove the needles immediately and I am asked not to move and try to relax and take a short rest. Of course, its not easy. Then it’s the second part of the treatment, the doctor removes the 3 needles and presses on the injured areas hardly, without leaving his hand, another 3 needles tapped on the same area one by one, deeper and harder than the previous, I can almost hear the needles are crashing with the bone! I know this is the process to extract the bad blood clot and to stimulate the nerve. But this is also the most painful and wretched part of the treatment, very much indeed. I can’t help to lower screaming but, sorry, its really painful. A short period of hot cupping is then needed in order to press the Acupoints and pull more bad clot at the same time, thanks to the theory of vacuum. By the time I calm down, I also feel my knee is more relax and reflexive. It’s sad to walk back home alone under rain with injury, but thank you jellyman, I feel more peaceful now. =)

The passage is long; your treatment experience was long too.
